The watch itself is quite beautiful in an industrial way, and the modification of the NH35A to allow the red date indicator is a great idea and works well. The maroon/red is deep and looks like quality. The band has many sharp edges. Buffing these edges to make them smooth to the touch would greatly increase the comfort and wear-ability of the band. I've ordered a leather band and will change it out. Also intending to try and buff the edges to make the bracelet usable. I have noticed this is an issue with some of the Aragon bracelets, in that the interior edges of the band, where it meets the wrist, could use more buffing or smoothing. On this one, the sharp edges around the slide lock are worse than usual. Some of the edges there are actually almost sharp enough to break the skin. Even with a casual tightening of the band, any lengthy wear time will result in indentations in the skin. Maybe I have one that missed the final buffing process.
